It started with oneelectricity bill.

For years, our founder worked as an electrical supplier. He understood the equipment, knew the industry and saw the promise of solar every day—yet he was still hesitant to install it at his own home. Like many South Africans, he had questions about the investment, the right system size and whether the real-world savings would live up to the promise.

Then the electricity bill reached a point that could no longer be ignored. The cost of waiting had become more expensive than the decision to act. So he treated his own home like a proper energy project: understand the household's real usage, identify what needed to stay on, select the right inverter, battery and panels, and install everything as one complete system.

The difference was immediate. The home became quieter when the grid went down, because life carried on. Electricity bought from the grid fell. There was a new awareness of where every unit was going—and, for the first time, the feeling that power was something the household could control rather than simply pay for.
